Uniform

Our uniform is as follows:

  • Correct colour royal blue sweatshirt
  • White polo shirt.
  • Dark coloured trousers or skirt. (We do not accept tracksuit bottoms, jeans or combat pants as suitable wear). Dark socks or tights.
  • Sensible footwear (no heels or colourful trainers, only black shoes or black trainers allowed)

For P.E and Games we expect the children to bring a change of clothes consisting of black shorts and plain white t-shirt for indoor P.E. with plimsolls or barefoot. For outdoor games children can fetch a tracksuit, jogging bottoms, t-shirt and sweatshirt or thin jacket. Football shirts are not acceptable. A change of footwear and socks is also needed for outdoor games.

Jewellery is only acceptable in the form of stud earrings. All other jewellery will have to be removed in class and returned at the end of the day. We will not accept covering of earrings with plasters. Earrings have to be removed for safety reasons.

We are very pleased to see so many children wearing a school uniform. Unfortunately this tends to deteriorate as the year goes on. Here at Strand Primary Academy we take our learning and image very seriously. Part of what wearing a uniform means, is helping children stay focused on what we are here for.

Pupils who are not dressed in appropriate uniform will receive a phone call home or text as a polite reminder.

Thank you for your co-operation

Any further questions should be sent to Mrs. S. Hatton, Academy Principal.
